Podemos generar calor o electricidad\nmediante combusti\u00f3n a partir de plantas\nprincipalmente (residuos agr\u00edcolas), as\u00ed como\nutilizar fuentes secundarias o terciarias (por\nejemplo, animales, residuos urbanos, residuos\nbiol\u00f3gicos de la industria). Aunque la biomasa no\nes la fuente de energ\u00eda m\u00e1s ecol\u00f3gica, con una\nplanificaci\u00f3n y una log\u00edstica cuidadosas presenta\nriesgos bajos que la hacen competitiva.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid art-descr\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Descripci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La utilizaci\u00f3n de la biomasa puede aplicarse tanto a los hogares como a los grandes edificios p\u00fablicos y privados de las zonas urbanas. Dependiendo de la capacidad del sistema instalado, puede incluso suministrar energ\u00eda para sistemas de calefacci\u00f3n urbana, reduciendo significativamente la dependencia energ\u00e9tica y los costes energ\u00e9ticos. Sin embargo, siempre es importante comprobar si la biomasa se ha producido de forma sostenible.<\/p>\n<p>Las calderas suelen utilizar materiales org\u00e1nicos procesados, picados, troceados o prensados. La biomasa debe almacenarse en espacios secos y protegidos. Adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n hay que tener en cuenta la ubicaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica de la biomasa, ya que el env\u00edo de madera\/pellet desde grandes distancias puede tener una gran huella ecol\u00f3gica y emisi\u00f3n de gases de efecto invernadero, dependiendo del modo de transporte.<\/p>\n<p>El coste de inversi\u00f3n de una caldera\/sistema de calefacci\u00f3n depende de su capacidad. El tiempo de recuperaci\u00f3n, que es relativamente corto, es de aproximadamente 5-10 a\u00f1os en el caso de edificios independientes. La instalaci\u00f3n es sencilla, las calderas se pueden manejar y trasladar f\u00e1cilmente. La tecnolog\u00eda es recomendable si se dispone localmente de grandes cantidades de residuos verdes, por ejemplo, de zonas verdes urbanas.
